Byrd Dining RoomMy clients wanted a mix of Asian, antique and contemporary. The table is an antique English refractory table. The chandelier is handmade wrought iron from a friend in Atlanta. The antique Chinese cabinet, with its distressed red finish, is a great server when company comes over. The windsor chairs are handmade by Ashlen out of Alabama.
Byrd Living RoomI used the pair of chairs my clients had purchased in France and selected a chest, zinc mirror and had the Chinese pottery lamp made for them. My client says it is her favorite piece in her home!
Lakeside Living RoomThis was a fun job. Lots of color, lots of fun, overlooking the lake. When you walk in you feel happy!
Tottem Master Bedroom Sitting Area
Totten Loft Living RoomThis was one of my favorite projects. Lots of challenges being housed on the 4th floor of a 19th century mercantile store building. My client wanted neutral with a sophisticated, upscale look. I found the mantel in Charleston. Though the fireplace is not a working fireplace, it creates a focal point and anchors the room. White walls, off-white upholstery. Simple. Quiet. Elegant.
Hidden Hills Master BedroomMy clients wanted a traditional Master Bedroom Suite. Lots of dark woods, a pair of wing chairs and lovely antiques to warm and charm the room.
Hidden Hills Back PorchI took old teak furniture had it refurbished, added cushions and created a quiet spot to read or entertain. The antique copper panel over the fireplace came off of a New England power plant built in the early 1900s. From the porch you step into a lovely garden.
Colleti DenMy client's purchased a rustic home built in the late 1800's. They wanted lots of white, lots of light and a relaxed, shabby chic feel. This is one of my favorite photos of their project.
Colleti Living RoomAgain, my clients wanted simple, quiet, neutral. We found the sofa in a barn nearby and had it recovered. The loveseat is an Mid Century piece we slip-covered. We painted the floor with an opaque white stain and the walls a quiet gray. The chandelier is an antique I purchased at an auction in New Orleans.
Twin Lakes Master Bedroom ChaiseThe blue and white toile fabric on the chaise lounge was the starting point of my client's Master Bedroom makeover. Once she fell in love with it, it was full steam ahead!
Cothran Mountain House Den Larger ViewMy clients wanted comfortable and relaxed with warm colors.
Cothran Mountain House Living RoomMy clients have a beautiful view of blooming dogwoods in the springtime out their bay window.
I have selected photos from projects throughout the Carolinas. Each was a great success!
