My aunt does so much for our family, but she rarely thinks of herself. So when Castlery invited me to makeover a room using their cool, modern pieces, I knew she’d be the perfect person to treat.
One of my signatures in any room is sprinkling some yellow. That said, I understand that not everyone loves to splash bold hues from floor to ceiling. Despite the fact that we’re related, my aunt is one of those people. Though I must say, over the years I think I’ve had a bit of influence on her decor preferences. Not too long ago, she gravitated mostly towards traditional styles. But after living with me for a few months back when I first moved into my LA home, she started becoming more and more interested in a contemporary aesthetic. She even came around to the idea of COLOR!
